Bouticol Waterproof RV Mattress Underlay King Gray

Description

Product Overview

The Bouticol RV mattress underlay is engineered for the unique challenges of mobile living. Each kit includes 49 interlocking plastic panels, each 11.8″ x 11.8″, that snap together to form an 83″ x 59″ waterproof surface suitable for a King‑size RV mattress. Constructed from high‑density, moisture‑resistant plastic, the underlay can support over 3,000 pounds, ensuring durability without adding significant weight (only 1 lb per kit). The hook‑and‑loop closure system secures the panels firmly, preventing shifting during travel.

Usage

Designed for RVs, motorhomes, and camper vans, this underlay protects your bedding from condensation, spills, and humidity that commonly occur in mobile environments. It is also suitable for boat cabins, tiny homes, and any portable sleeping area where moisture control is essential. Install the panels on a clean, flat surface, interlock them, and secure the edges with the supplied straps for a seamless, protective layer.

Why Choose Us

Bouticol combines premium materials with thoughtful design to deliver a product that outperforms generic mattress pads. Our underlay is fully waterproof, lightweight, and capable of bearing heavy loads, making it ideal for the rigors of travel. Each kit undergoes strict quality testing to ensure consistent interlock strength and water resistance. Additionally, the gray color blends discreetly with most RV interiors, and the plastic composition resists mold and mildew.

FAQ

Will the underlay fit a Queen size mattress?

Yes, the panels can be arranged to cover a standard Queen size RV mattress, though the kit is optimized for King dimensions.

Is the plastic material safe for prolonged skin contact?

The plastic is non‑toxic and free of harmful chemicals. However, a thin fabric cover is recommended for added comfort.

How do I clean the underlay after a spill?

Simply spot‑clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid submerging the entire pad to maintain the integrity of the interlocking seams.

Can the underlay be used in humid climates without developing odor?

Initial plastic odor may be present; airing the panels in a well‑ventilated area for several hours eliminates any smell.

Does the waterproof layer affect mattress breathability?

The underlay provides a barrier against liquid moisture while allowing air circulation around the mattress, helping to prevent condensation buildup.
